If you ask him, he'll tell you it was actually his connections with the families of the victims of crime that have stayed in his heart and the deep trust they placed in him to tell their stories. This enabled him to produce long form crime documentaries for the 7 Network (Seven West Media).
Writing and editing high quality news content has been his bread and butter and video storytelling, you could say, has always been in his blood, ever since his career in mainstream media began in the 1990s.
